Hi, I am
Gregorio Alejandro Asafoah Hansen.
Welcome, I am a Director of Photography, and VFX compositor based in Accra, Ghana, and owner of GLM Studio, though I go where the work takes me.
Allow me to properly introducing myself. A quote I live by is; "I believe who you are shapes how you shoot, and how you show up on set matters just as much as the images you walk away with." - Giacarlo Stigliano (DP).
This is shown in my work as a Director of Photography, from the first prep call to the very end.
I've come to believe the mood on set is part of the craft itself. When a team is working well together and actually enjoying it, you can see that translate straight into the final image.
Outside of work, I keep a running playlist called "Quiet Time" — the soundtrack that builds me both physically and Spiritually. I love to learn about things people don't normally think of and I'm currently watching The Lanterns, so far, so good, I'd say.
Your project matters because the right image can change how people see, feel, and respond. Driven by a lifelong passion for motion pictures and technology, I listen closely to your vision, ask the questions that uncover what matters most, and use cinematography and VFX expertise to turn it into visuals with lasting impact.
